Yes, but only partially, and you have to set it up yourself. GA4 does not have a built-in AI channel, so visits from AI tools land in Referral or get lumped into Unassigned. Create a custom channel group or an exploration that matches session source against chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, copilot.microsoft.com, gemini.google.com, and claude.ai.

Expect the number to understate reality. Google AI Overviews traffic still reports as organic Google, some AI apps strip the referrer entirely, and plenty of people read the AI answer and then search your brand name separately. Read AI referrals as a directional trend, and pair them with call tracking and form-source questions for the real picture.
