What should a post-job follow-up sequence include?

Four touches over about thirty days. Same day: a thank-you with the invoice and warranty details. Day two: the review request. Day seven: care tips for whatever you installed or repaired, plus how to reach you. Day thirty: a check-in asking whether everything is still working right.

Put the referral ask in the day-thirty message rather than the same-day one, since goodwill needs a little time to settle. Keep every message short and personal, route replies to a real person instead of a no-reply inbox, and hold the whole sequence if a callback ticket is open on that job.
