How long should I keep following up on an unsold estimate?

Work it hard for fourteen days, then move it to long-term nurture rather than dropping it. Most home-service jobs that close from an estimate close inside the first two weeks, but replacement work like roofs, AC systems, and remodels often sits for months while the homeowner saves up or collects other bids.

Once the two-week sequence ends, drop the contact into a monthly or quarterly touch: a seasonal tip, a price-change notice, a financing update. In Tampa Bay, a re-touch just before hurricane season or the first hot stretch of spring can revive an estimate that went quiet in January.
