Google Business Profile & Maps

What happens to my Google reviews when I rebrand my company?

Your reviews stay put as long as you rename the existing profile instead of creating a new one. Reviews belong to the profile, not to the name, and Google does not transfer them between listings except when it merges true duplicates.

So rebrand in place: edit the name on the profile you already own, expect a re-verification or a short review period, and update your website, citations, and license records to match. Add a line to your profile description noting the former name so returning customers recognize you, and ask a few recent customers for fresh reviews that mention the new name.
