Should we send birthday and anniversary messages to past customers?

Service anniversaries yes, birthdays usually no. Most contractors do not collect birth dates reliably, and a birthday text from the plumbing company reads as odd to a homeowner. The anniversary of an install or first service, on the other hand, is a natural reason to check in and offer a tune-up.
