A2P 10DLC is the carrier registration required to send business text messages from a standard ten-digit number. You register a brand, which is your legal business entity, then a campaign describing what you send, and the carriers approve the use case before your message throughput is unblocked.

You will need your legal business name, EIN, an address matching your state registration, a website, sample messages, and a description of how people opt in. Approval usually takes a few business days to a couple of weeks, and the most common rejection reason is an opt-in description that does not match a visible consent checkbox on your site.
