Social Media Marketing

Is it better to boost posts or run ads through Meta Ads Manager?

For anything beyond a quick visibility bump, Ads Manager wins decisively. The "Boost Post" button is simple but blunt — limited targeting, weak optimization, and it usually chases likes and reach instead of leads. Ads Manager gives you real audience targeting (service-area radius around Tampa, Brandon, or Clearwater; homeowners; age and interest filters), proper objectives like leads or calls, the Meta pixel for retargeting and conversion tracking, and A/B testing.

Boosting has one narrow use: pushing a genuinely strong organic post — a viral-ish job video or a big review — to more local people cheaply. But for campaigns meant to book jobs, you want conversion-optimized ads with tracked outcomes, not boosted vanity metrics. We run paid social through Ads Manager with the pixel firing into your CRM so we can measure cost per booked job, not just cost per like. Boosting is a tool; it's not a strategy.
